Highlights include an energy treasure hunt, computer games and a transparent nuclear reactor model. Energy-related videotaped programs are shown in the auditorium. Also at the site is a self-guided nature trail that winds through 3 habitats of a coastal barrier island. Energy Encounter and nature trails are open Monday-Friday and Sunday, 10am-4pm; closed holidays. Free to the public.
