Sarasota Community School is a private school established to serve emotionally and educationally challenged students. The program combines education and structure within a self governed therapeutic peer community environment. Psychotherapy is an integral aspect of the residential program. Group and individual therapy are offered. It has preparatory and main stream curriculum with a wide variety of elective classes and work study programs. Activities such as community services, game days, dances, and leadership programs are conducted.
