Jacksonville Beach is located in
Duval County just east of
Jacksonville between
Fernandina Beach and
St Augustine along Highway A1A on the banks of the Tolomato River near the Atlantic seacoast. Jacksonville Beach is part of the
Jacksonville, Florida metro area.
In the past decade Jacksonville Beach has grown into a solid business, resort and residential community. It is the largest and oldest of the three beach communities in Duval County. The City also has a central downtown business district that is thriving.
Jacksonville Beach has all the amenities of a large beach resort and the hospitality of a small home town.
