Health Central opened in 1993, boasting 141 beds, a 24-hour emergency room, Special Delivery Maternity Center, Kid Central Pediatric Unit, outpatient capabilities, a dedicated volunteer program donating over 30,000 hours, a helipad and a unique medical mall design unlike any in the county.

Their recent multi-million dollar expansion will continue Health Central?s vision to combine the latest technology with the ease of convenience and location to meet your healthcare needs. The expansion will add an advanced Cardiac Care Unit, 30 inpatient beds, an observation unit and expanded emergency room and waiting area. Also in the works following their addition: a spa-like women?s center, continued expansion of the emergency room and Heart Central- an advanced cardiac care unit.
