Fawcett Memorial Hospital is a 238-bed acute care center serving the Charlotte County community and surrounding areas. Its medical staff of 280 physicians represents a wide range of specialties. In addition, a group of 305 volunteers donated tens of thousands of hours of their time last year at Fawcett.The Hospital?s Emergency Care Center was the first in the county to staff full-time physicians Board Certified in Emergency Medicine 24 hours a day, along with trained nurses certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support. Fawcett Memorial Hospital offers a full continuum of rehabilitative services which include an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and Outpatient Rehabilitation services.
