Armentieres France

Armentieres owes its fame to its textile and brewing industry and its flourishing commercial life. It boasts the sobriquet of "City of Cloth", and is today a cultural and sporting center. The 120 hectares of the Pres du Hem Leisure Park are an added attraction. A visit to the town hall, built in Flemish Renaissance style, is a must, with its fine stained glass and its belfry whose bells ring out every hour.
