Ceret France

Famous for the cherries produced locally, Ceret is dotted with pink blossoms in spring. The mild, temperate climate of the town, located between the sea and the mountains, allows for a huge range of activities. The Catalan influence is strongly felt here, evident in the regular bullfights held in the arena, and the town was a popular place of inspiration for such artists as Picasso, Braque and Matisse.
