Located in the Quartier Notre-Dame, behind the Palais des Ducs, this early 13th-century Gothic church features a facade adorned with gargoyles and slender columns topped by the 14th-century Jacquemart Clock. Inside, the north transept windows contain beautiful fragments of the original stained glass and the south transept houses a 12th-century black wooden Virgin. The north wall of the church (on rue de la Chouette) features a small sculpted owl that is reputed to bring good luck to those who touch it.
