Built in the Flamboyant Gothic style, the church is known for the quality of its 16th-century carved, wooden doors depicting scenes from the Bible. Behind the church lies the Aitre St-Maclou, a medieval cemetery devoted to the burial of victims of the plague, now a garden courtyard for the School of Fine Arts.
