For water lovers, this park has some of the best recreation facilities in the state park system. Within its boundaries are two lakes for swimming, boating, and fishing, as well as the largest sand beach of any Georgia state park. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking, miniature golf, volleyball and horseshoes. A small lodge located near the beach features six units, each with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area, and bedroom.
A campground with hot showers is also available.
