Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital (NWGRH) in Rome, Georgia is located 65 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia and is also located 64 miles south of Chattanooga Tennessee. Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital is an inpatient unit of Georgia's Mental Health/Mental Retardation Service System. It is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation os Healthcare Organization and Acriditation Council for Medicaid. NWGRH has 206 acres of land; 1,800 sq ft of greenhouses, 600 sq ft of Hot Beds/Cold Frames, 18,000 sq ft of indoor activity space, 1,280 sq ft vegetable gardens, 1/2 mile Nature Trail and 600 sq ft of Bonsai House.
