Omaha

Omaha is located in Stewart County northwest of Albany along Highway 39 on the banks of the Chattahoochee River near Providence Canyon State Park in the Southern Rivers Region of the state. Situated just east of the Alabama state line.

The name derives from Indian term for "against the wind".
