Panola Mountain State Conservation Park

This park encompasses a 100 acre granite mountain that shelters plants and animals indigenous to the Piedmont region and preserves the granite formation in its natural state. The park offers a playground, scenic views, nature trails and an interpretive center with displays about the natural history of the area.

Nature programs and guided hikes are offered.

Park open daily 7am-dusk. Nature center hours vary. Call ahead.
