Stockbridge is located in
Henry County between Morrow and McDonough in the
Historic South Region of the state. Located on Hwy 23, just southeast of
Atlanta. The Panola Mountain Conservation Park and Jackson Lake are nearby. Stockbridge is part of the
Atlanta, Georgia metro area.
It was named after state Sen. Thomas Stock.
