Founded in 1948, this is a public institution that is part of the university system of Georgia. The college offers undergraduate and graduate programs in arts and sciences, management, technology and architecture. There are 4 undergraduate schools. The 120 acre campus is in a suburban area 15 miles northwest of
Atlanta. Including residence halls there are 23 buildings.
Fraternities, sororities, and over 40 clubs and organizations are on campus. Campus tours are available through the admissions office.
