This museum depicts the history of the Confederate navy and the efforts of the South to become an important naval power. Salvaged remains of Confederate gunboats Jackson and Chattahoochee: relics, uniforms, paintings, and other exhibits on Confederate naval operations.
Exhibits also display artifacts, ships models, and the remains of the ironclad CSS `Chattahoochee` and CSS `Jackson.
