Woodruf Museum Museum of Civil War and Naval History

This museum depicts the history of the Confederate navy and the efforts of the South to become an important naval power. Salvaged remains of Confederate gunboats Jackson and Chattahoochee: relics, uniforms, paintings, and other exhibits on Confederate naval operations. Exhibits also display artifacts, ships models, and the remains of the ironclad CSS `Chattahoochee` and CSS `Jackson.
