Halawa Valley

This area on the eastern tip of Molokai Island is a pristine gorge that follows water falls and pools down to the sea. There is a beach park where the valley meets the sea. The taro fields and gardens are now bush after the 1946 tidal wave.

Just to the south is Kalanikaula, the sacred kukui grove.
