Hapuna Golf Course

Located in South Kohala Coast, this 18 hole par 72 course is 6,069 yds. A new course, it is environmentally sensitive, landscaped with indigenous plants, trees and grasses. The first and 18th holes are walking distance to the Mauna Kea Resorts.

It opened in 1992 and has high season from November to April. Carts are mandatory. Guests may call four days in advance, off-property golfers two days in advance. Golfers say the fairways require straight hitting and local knowledge.

It is located 34 miles south of Kailua Kona.
