Helemano Plantation

Helemano Plantation provides a real world work environment for the developmentally disabled. The plantation offers training and employment opportunities in its work centers, including a gift shop, bake shop, silk flower shop and restaurant. The site showcases five acres of herb, flower, and vegetable gardens, which are maintained by residents with mental disabilities.

The vocational program helps them to make and sell products based on the gardens at this plantation. The plantation is next to the Dole Pineapple Pavilion in Wahiawa outside of Waikiki. It is open daily 7:30am to 4:30pm.
