Exceptional permanent collections of Asian, European, American and Pacific art collections, including works by Matisse, Cezanne, Gauguin, van Gogh and Picasso. Galleries are arranged around six garden courtyards. The Hawaiian section includes feather leis, tapa beaters, poi pounders and koa calabashes. The South Pacific section has artifacts from New Guinea, Micronesian and other islands. There is an admission. Located on S Beretania St Between Victoria St and Ward Ave, it is considered the cultural center of Hawaii.
