King's Trail is located in Kealakekua on the Big Island of Hawaii. Their scenic trailride to the Captain Cook Monument in Kealakekua Bay includes 2 hrs. of riding, 1 hr. of swimming and snorkeling in one of the most beautiful and historic bays on the Big Island and a great lunch. The horses are Quarter-horses. Kealakekua Bay is the bay that explorer, Captain James Cook, first landed in 1776. There is a monument erected in his honor at the site, located on the unpopulated side of Kealakeku a Bay. This area is not accessible by car, but it is possible to reach this beautiful spot on horseback and while in Hawaii you should consider this adventure.
