Kaneohe is located in Honolulu County north of Honolulu, on the eastern coast of Oahu Island, between Heeia and Kailua along Highway 830 near Ahuimanu, Kaneohe Bay, Mokuoloe Island, and Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base.Activities in the area include swimming, snorkeling and diving, windsurfing, sailing, hiking, biking and golf. Nearby points of interest include Kaneohe Beach Park, Haiku Gardens, and the He'eia State Park.
