Kilauea is located in Kauai County on the north side of Kauai Island, between Hanalei and Anahola along Highway 56 near Princeville, Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, Kilauea Lighthouse, and Kilauea Bay. It is known as the Guava Capital of the World, and is home to the Guava Kai Plantation.
