Kilauea Iki Trail-Big Island

Located in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a 3 mile strenuous, two and a half hour loop. Start at Kilauea Iki overlook, going counterclockwise along the rim. Trail goes through forest with views of Mauna Kea before descending onto crater floor. See the eruptive remains of Puu Puai and steam escaping from cracks.
