Kuan Yin Temple

This Buddhist temple is located on Vineyard Blvd near Foster Botanic Garden on the northern side of Chinatown. The bright red temple has a green ceramic tile roof. The ornate interior has a carved alter and burning incense.

Fruits with many seeds are stacked on the alter to promote fertility. Respectful visitors are welcome at this temple where Honolulu's community worships.
