Maui Island is the beginning of the beach in the
Kihei area. For six miles, there is a congregation of motels and condos along the beautiful beach.
Lanai Island,
Molokini Island, Kahoolawe and West
Maui Island are visible from the shore.
Maalaea is the harbor for shipping, inter-island shipping and small boat activity, including boat charters. The area is windy and popular for windsurfing also.
