Waimea Canyon State Park

Adjacent to Kokee State Park on Hwy 550. The rim overlooks the colorful canyon and Niihau Island. There are mile markers along the canyon rim drive, with overlooks. There is a small parking lot at the Kukui and Iliau Loop Trails.

The loop is an easy, 15 minute nature walk with identified dry forest plants. There are great views and a covered picnic area. Camping is available with a permit. Call for info and permits.
