Haena State Park

This northshore state beach is good for swimming in the summer months. Surfs up in the winters. There are restrooms, showers and mobile snacks in vans.

It is located at the end of Kuhio Hwy (Rt 56). Legend has it that sea caves in the area were formed by the fire goddess Pele's search for a new home. The trailhead for the only land route to the Na Pali Coast begins here.
