Davis County Hospital

Construction of the 34-bed facility was completed in 1950. An open house was held August 5 and 6.

Continued growth of the hospital created a need for more patient beds. In 1958, a new addition was completed adding 31 patient beds, a new delivery and nursery.

Davis County hospital continued to operate at 100% capacity. The North wing was opened in December 1966, adding 36 beds, a new kitchen, dining room, physical therapy service and examination room.

On November 1, 1993 the Public Health Nurses merged with the hospital to form Davis County Hospital Home and Community Health. This service provides home health/public health nursing care 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

In September 1998, a groundbreaking celebration was held welcoming the start of an $8.3 million hospital renovation project and medical office addition. These renovations were completed during the fall of 2001.
