Hancock County Memorial Hospital was opened in 1953. Hancock County Memorial Hospital is a county owned, tax-supported health services facility with 25 acute care beds, and four primary care clinics located in: Britt, Garner, Kanawha, and Wesley, providing high quality care in a rural setting. As they enter the 21st century, many changes are taking place in the world of health care.
