Carter House

Carter House built in 1878 is located in the Sherman Hill National Historic District. Each room is uniquely appointed with period furnishings and is equipped with cable television, VCR, telephone and modem port. A multi-course breakfast is served in the formal dining room on the main floor with classical music by candlelight.

The house is close to Interstate 235, Drake University, Hoyt Sherman Theater, Ingersoll Dinner Theater, Airport, State Fairgrounds and Historic Valley Junction.
