The 100 Acre Wood Resort/Outfitters is a full service resort located on the Idaho/Montana border on the Lewis and Clark trail near the Salmon River. They feature 19-one day guided outdoor adventure tours to pick from and a luxary log resort to stay in. Tours are from Wolf viewing, 4x4 off road tours to back country plane flights, plus 13 more.This three story log home was build by Jon as a "hobby" during the last 17 years while employed in the industrial construction field. He cut the logs and constructed the home without blueprints, and so far the resort is at 11,000 square feet. The dinner house accommodates our guests on a pre-order dinner basis.Pets allowed by special arrangement only. They are a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted outside only. Rates include a full breakfast including coffee, tea, juice, and a hot entree. Catch and release fishing is also free. No license is required, and they provide the rods.
