Ashton Idaho

Located on US 20 north of St Anthony, Ashton was incorporated in 1906 after the Oregon Short Line moved its tracks two miles west of Marysville. The town is named for Bill Ashton, chief engineer of the Oregon Short Line, who homesteaded in the area along with his son.

Ashton is in Fremont County.
