There have been two "Eagles" in Idaho. The current town of Eagle is in
Ada County, a suburb of
Boise on Hwy 44, with a population near 10,000.
The original settlement of Eagle is just west of Murray in the Coeur d'Alene National Forest. It was the Coeur d'Alenes first gold rush camp and the site of Wyatt Earp's famous 1884 tent saloon.
There is also an Eagle, Colorado.
