Hailey Idaho

Laid out in 1881, the town of Hailey was the center of a rich mining district. It is located 12 miles south of Ketchum and Sun Valley on the Sawtooth National Scenic Byway.

Hailey is on Hwy 75 in Blaine County.

The poet Ezra Pound was born in Hailey in 1885. Pound left Idaho at the age of 18 months and later became one of the controversial giants of modern literature.
