Located just 15 miles west of Yellowstone National Park, this high mountain lake is the kind of place fishermen dream about. The park, named after explorer Major Andrew Henry, opens the Saturday before Memorial Day and closes October 31th.

There are 50 camping sites, 26 with hookups, and one accessible to persons with disabilities.

Fishing on the lake usually opens on the Saturday before Memorial Day, but check the official Web site for confirmation.

Many of Idaho's most beautiful and scenic spots are preserved in the Idaho State Parks system.
