The immense journey of Interstate 90, from Seattle to Boston, includes only a small part of Idaho as it crosses the narrow part of the state in the Panhandle of
Northern Region. Crossing from
Spokane at
Post Falls, the freeway intersects Idaho's main north-south route,
Highway 95, at
Coeur d'Alene, and proceeds east through
Kellogg and
Wallace before crossing into Montana at the summit of Lookout Pass.
