This 2055-acre area provides outstanding opportunities for wildlife viewing, recreation, and learning about western history. Pheasants, Hungarian partridges, and waterfowl abound. Trapshooting and archery ranges enable marksmen to sharpen their skills, while boat docks and ramps provide access to the Snake River and Milner Lake. Picnic tables are also available. Interpretive signs furnish information about the Oregon Trail ruts that are still visible here.
