The house sits on land originally owned by Noah Kellogg, who, in 1883 discovered the silver in the mountains of Northern Idaho. He lived here on the property with his wife, Dora, from 1893 to 1897. The house was then used as a boarding house and passed through several owners before John George bought it in 1944 and rebuilt the present structure for his wife, Dorothy, and their family. John George, who, as a young boy, migrated from Macedonia in 1907, owned a mine and a mill until his death in December 1972.There are two suites Located in the main house both with private baths and private balcony offering pleasing mountain views. Two cottages offered. One is perfect for couples and one for a family.
