Osburn Idaho

Originally a construction camp for the Mullan Road, it was later the site of a trading post run by one Bill Osborne. The spelling Osburn was adopted by the Post Office in 1887. Osburn was the seat of Shoshone County from 1890 to 1893, when it lost out to Wallace, its neighbor on I-90 east of Coeur d'Alene.
