Tigert Middle School has a population of approximately 160 students in grades 7 and 8 with a staff of 8 teachers, 1 half-time teacher, 3 classroom aides, secretary, and special education instructor. The mission is to meet the educational, developmental, and social needs of the students. The curriculum includes traditional and enrichment courses in reading, writing, and math. Lifetime sports excursions, computer labs, and gymnasium are also provided.
