Ste Chapelle Winery is named for the beautiful La Sainte Chapelle, or "holy chapel," built in Paris by Louis IX of France during the 13th Century. The winery tasting room draws inspiration from original chapel by its high, bright cathedral windows, combined with vaulted ceilings and a stained glass window.
Ste Chapelle produces 100,000 to 125,000 cases of wine each year. The largest plantings are Johannisberg Riesling, followed by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Visitors may taste about four wines at no charge. While tasting, they may also sample specialty foods of Idaho and the Northwest.
