The Dance Center Evanston is the home of the Evanston Dance Ensemble, a non profit youth dance company offering performance opportunities for the serious minded student.It offers a carefully designed and progressive program in dance technique which takes the young dancer from the primary levels to pre-professional dance. The staffs have years of experience as teachers, performers, and choreographers. It offers strong technical training in ballet, and encourages students to take modern dance which, in addition to technique, uses improvisatory exercises to stimulate personal creativity and freedom of movement.
