Cherry Valley is located in the Northern Tier of Illinois in southeastern
Winnebago County southeast of
Rockford on the banks of the Kishwaukee River near the
Boone County line.
This golf-conscious area has been named by Golf Digest as its #1 medium-sized golf town in the country. Cherry Valley is home to one of these scenic courses--Elliot Golf Course.
Fair-goers will want to take in the Cherry Valley Festival Days held annually in late August. The 3-day affair features concerts, a carnival and workshops by various entities such as Home Depot.
