Findlay is a resort community located in central Illinois in
Shelby County about one mile from the western shores of
Lake Shelbyville. The lake is fed from the northeast by the
Kaskaskia River and from the northwest by the Okaw River.
The area is an outdoor enthusisasts paradise featuring nearby Eagle Creek State Park, Wolf Creek State Park and the Shelbyville Wildlife Management Areas all within minutes of town. Activities at these facilities range from hunting and fishing to power boating and skiing to hiking and bird watching. In addition, golfers will want to sneak in a round at Eagle Creek Resort.
