Eagle Creek State Park

A favorite of walkers and hikers, this park offers scenic trails, many of them hugging the Lake Shelbyville shoreline. Near Wolf Creek State Park, the 1,463-acre site is north of Shelbyville and an easy drive from several Illinois communities, including Springfield, Decatur, and Effingham.
