Krannert Center for the Performing Arts "The Lincoln Center of the Midwest"

The center covers seven acres and includes four theaters and an outdoor amphitheater. It is host to more than 400 performances a year of about 180 productions. The impressive compound is on the University of Illinois campus and was designed by University of Illinois alumnus Max Abramovitz. He also was on the design team for the Lincoln Center in New York City.
