Lick Creek

Lick Creek is located in southern Illinois in Union County south of Mt. Vernon between Marion and Jonesboro along Interstate 57 about 5 miles north of the Cache River on the southern fringe of the Shawnee National Forest.

One of the area's attractions is Draper's Bluff, a limestone escarpment just east of town that attracts a multitude of climbers. In addition, Ferne Clyffe State Park is located about 10 miles to the northeast.
