Fox Valley Bicycle and Ski Club was started in 1968. It is located in Fox River Valley region of Northeastern Illinois. It provides a focal point for group bicycling and skiing activities for the communities in, and surrounding the Tri-Cities of Saint Charles, Geneva, and Batavia. The purpose of the club is to encourage, educate, and promote recreation, fitness, and alternative transportation as leaders in the Fox Valley communities. The club enjoys close proximity to the quiet roads of rural Kane Co. and popular sections of the Illinois trail system, including the Illinois Prairie Path, the Fox River Trail, and the Great Western trails.
