Pomona

Pomona is located in southern Illinois in southern Jackson County about 10 miles southwest of Carbondale along Highway 127 about 10 miles inland from the Mississippi River. The town is situated in the western portion of the Shawnee National Forest and only a "stone's throw" west of Cedar Lake.
